Highlights of Travel & General Insurance Co plc's policies include:
1. Flight delay cover (£30 for 12 hours, thereafter £20 per 12 hours)
2. Missed connection cover to catch up with your itinerary if you are delayed, by more than one hour, getting to your connecting transport.
3. Piste closure cover of £50 per day (including the autumn season).
4. Automatic off-piste cover provided you are not skiing / boarding alone.
5. Good cover for equipment owned, hired or loaned.
6. Tobogganing automatically covered.
If you take up a Travel & General policy (either single trip, family or annual) and need to make a claim either for missed connection which has been arranged through Mountainsun Ltd, or for damage to or loss of equipment provided by Mountainsun Ltd, you can make the claim to Mountainsun Ltd who will be handling the claim on behalf of Travel & General. You will not be required to prepay the insurance settlement.
